Packed lunch...yummy!

Primary 6/7 will be continuing their healthy walks block with a trip to Finlaystone Estate. Could all pupils bring a packed lunch to school.

Angles




This morning P6/7 have been looking at angles. We have been learning about acute, right, obtuse, straight and reflex angles. The pupils have been asked to learn these terms for tomorrow.

Co-op Learning




This afternoon P2-7 continued their Health and Wellbeing cooperative learning activities. They were looking at 'Safety in the Home'. They were split into groups and asked to looked at the ten most common ways that people injured themselves at home. After this they discussed how they can keep safe at home

A lovely sunny day....







This morning P4-7 continued their healthy walks block with a walk along the Greenock Cut. We started at Overton and walked over 4 miles to Cornalees. It was a beautiful day and the pupils had a great time walking in the sunshine as well as looking at the new lambs and the tadpoles in the water.

Functional Writing




This morning Primary 6/7 were learning about report writing. The class were split into two groups and were asked to argue for/against school uniforms. After the debate they were asked to write a report showing both sides of the argument and concluding with their own opinion.

Co-operative Learning Afternoon




In our co-operative learning afternoon P2-7 were learning about bullying. The pupils were split into mixed age groups and were given the task for creating a at about bullying. The group then performed these plays to the rest of the pupils.
