Yesterday Mrs Speirs taught Primary 6/7 about John F. Kennedy. For homework she asked the class to find two people they know who were alive when JFK was assassinated and tell her what they were doing. Please post your responses on the blog.
An exciting blog from the pupils of Cedars School of Excellence

J.F.K was shot on ian lundie's 20th birthday. He heard about the shooting as he left his house at Friar's Court in Knightswood. When he reached Partick to meet his friends he heard that J.F.K was dead.

On friday night of the 22nd of November 1963 Sheila came home from brownies. She found her mum crying and on the tv was a news flash from Dallas in Texas, and pictures of Mrs Kennedy holding her husband who had been shot. Then they heard that he had died. Aimee Jewell

I was a little girl coming home from the Brownies when I heard that JFK had been shot. My Father said it might be the end of the world as he thought that the Russians would launch a nuclear bomb on Russia, but that did not happen

My Aunt who was called Jean Campbell, was at the pictures with her boyfriend. The film they had gone to see was a James Bond film called "From Russia with Love". During the film there was a news flash which said that John F Kennedy had been shot dead. My aunt thought it was just a part of the film. When she got home she found out it was true.
