Today Primary 6/7 visited the Greenock Central Library. We were met by Rebecca McKellar and Myra Mains who gave us a tour of the Library, a computer quiz and a 'Dewey' quiz. The class had a great time and asked loads of questions. The pupils were given information booklets, pencils and book markers. Some pupils brought their library cards and took out some books and audiobooks.
Thank you Rebecca and Myra for a great day.

Today I went to visit Greenock libary. Rebecca gave us a tour of the childrens department. She told us about fiction and non-fiction books. We also searched the computer for books on different subjects. When we got back to school Mr Atkinson gave us a comment sheet to fill in. I enjoyed going to the Greenock libary and i hope to go back again soon.

Dear Mr A,
I had a great day today. I learned a lot about the library; how to search for books; how to research on the Internet on various websites. The women who took us round were very helpful. The library was near the town hall in Greenock and we spent our time in the children's section. I found a book that I liked called Indiana Jones and the Crusade. I spotted some good Marvel books before Jack leaped into them with interest. All together I found the library fun and I may well become a member. I cant wait until lunch tomorrow,
